Our Truss Manufacturing Systems
Are Fast—and Accurate.

Once United Structural Components has completed the design and engineering for your project’s structural system, production begins in our Moorhead, Mn manufacturing facility.

	Two separate component saws are used for roof and floor trusses. Our computerized component saw for roof trusses downloads information directly from the engineering file for your project, and truss components are then cut to exact specifications.
	Using downloaded engineering files for each project, an overhead laser system allows us to plate and press each component to laser-aligned specifications.
	The final roller press evenly seats the truss plates assuring a true and accurate truss.
	Not only is this system more accurate than conventional manufacturing systems, but it makes United Structural Components’ production much more efficient. In fact, we can set up almost any truss in less than 15 minutes—and, thanks to laser accuracy, see very few if any callbacks on our products. All our components are analyzed for strength and reliability before they become part of your important building project.
